Game Day at The Skip

The Skip is about a 5-minute walk from Comerica Park and Ford Field — an open-air bar in The Belt, the mural-covered alley off Library Street, a block from Hudson's Detroit and around the corner from the Shinola Hotel.

Catching the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park or the Detroit Lions at Ford Field? Pregame in the alley with frozen cocktails and cold beer, then walk to your seats. After the game, we're pouring until midnight on weeknights and 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Skip the $40+ stadium lots — park at the Z Garage, the lot The Belt runs through, and we'll validate your parking for up to 3 hours.

Game day hours

Open Tuesday–Sunday from 4PM. Closed Mondays. Check the full drink menu before you head down. We also often open early on game days — swing by when the game lets out.
